customer complaint... none, i only had 5 calls today and all the machines were made by other manufacturers

frigidaire washer model # gltf1240as0 wont complete cycle

customer complaint.... customer started washer before work, came home 8 hours later and machine was still running, customer indicated the timer was sitting near the final rinse in the normal cycle
*note* observant customers will notice the machine is filling and draining at the same time
checked machine serial #.. serial was xc334...... this says the machine was built in 2003
next i checked the date code on the speed board and it also had a 2003 date code, so it was the original board
the boards built in 2003 and early 2004 had a problem where they would glitch intermittently and get stuck in this endless loop
replaced the speed board with new, part # 134149220 controler
*note* speed board can also be called .. SCU, controler or motor control board

customer complaint..... machine wont drain

tested dishwasher, drain pump was running but unit was not draining
removed drainhose connection at sink and looked inside, hose was filled with grease(old bacon grease that was now lard)
cleaned plumbing spigot with a screwdriver then fished drain hose with my appliance hose snake(this looks just like a plumbers snake only its 1/4 inch in diameter(its a recycled sheath off a lawnmower throttle cable)) and it sure comes in handy often(works on plugged fridge drains too)
ran machine through several fills and drains to get the water good and hot to flush away any left over gookus and advised customer to run some dishwasher cleaner through machine and scrape bacon grease better and wash those dishes in the sink

frigidaire dryer rumbles

customer complaint... dryer rumbles

tested unit... heard excessive noise and vibration

removed front panel to inspect blower wheel(expecting to find a dryer sheet)

blower wheel looked clean,further inspection found the plastic blower wheel to be stripped off its shaft(uncommon in frigidaire dryers(stripped blower wheels are a maytag problem))

replaced blower with part #131775600 blower kit(wheel and housing)

inspected rear bearing and greesed during reassembly

frigidaire dishwasher model fdb510lcs noisey

customer complaint... noisey during wash cycle

tested machine... noise was not a normal operating noise so sump screen was removed, then the volute was removed to inspect the pump impellers, removed bolt from wash impeller, reassembled and tested
noise level after screw removal was normal and acceptable
man of the house inquired where the removed bolt came from and was informed it was not part of the dishwasher
after some discussion with the man of the house the lady of the hose was summoned so the technician could ask "where is your pot with the loose handle?"
technician then repaired loose handle on customers pot at no extra charge
